I was born in Northern part of Myanmar and graduated from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore with Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Business in 2008 April. Before I joined this career with Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®), I was working as an Operation Assistant in one of the leading internet travel company Singapore.
I have been under a discriminating Boss for 4 months. She was treated me as her maid on that time I do not know how should I get away from that job. Not even Boss most of my entire colleague look down on me and do not want to have lunch together with me said that I was from Third World Country. I had been trying to tell her to resign but she did not allow me to do so. That was my first full time job in Singapore.
One day one of my old friend Bessie called me and said that there is a job opportunities from her company. I went to the interview with my manager Darric Seow from Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). The interview was successes but most of my friends, relative and my parents do not wish me to join Insurance Industry as a career. My parents wanted me to go China to help out their business with my Aunty. They were strongly discouraged me to join because of my past full time job with bad experience and environment. But I had been fighting for staying and working in Singapore especially in Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). It’s because with no discrimination, full of encouragement and even foreigner get same benefit with local people and every colleague are very friendly and managers are very helpful. They will be there when you need them to get advice.
I also found out that the Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) put our family first and ourselves second then the organisation which totally different with others. You will not believe if you did not really experience it. I believe that I can do well and success in this career under this positive and a very good environment when you are working you are getting support from a lot of people. I did explain these entire situations to my parents and I have a very good Organisation to support me to success in this Career.
In these 2 months my parents are not asking me again to go China to help them and my Aunty. They have been realising that I join with the Organisation and their daughter have been mature when talking to them. I am sure that I will be doing very well because I am trained by Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). Visit me @ petertan.com.sg
